Privacy Policy
Lowcountry AI LLC — Effective date: July 6, 2026
Lowcountry AI LLC ("Lowcountry AI," "we," "us") provides software that helps account owners create, schedule, publish, and measure content on their own social media accounts (the "Services"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to lowcountryaisystems.com and to applications we operate that connect to third-party platforms such as TikTok and YouTube.
Information we collect
Account and contact information. When you create an account with us or communicate with us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, and business details.
Connected platform data. When you link a social media account to the Services, we receive information from that platform through its authorized interfaces (APIs). Depending on the platform and the permissions you grant, this includes access tokens, your account identifier and handle, basic profile information, and performance data about the content we publish for you (for example, views and engagement metrics). We request only the permissions needed to operate the Services on your behalf.
Content you provide. We process the materials you supply or direct us to prepare for publication — video, audio, images, captions, product details, and links.
Technical information. Like most services, we collect standard log data (IP address, browser type, timestamps) and use a small number of cookies needed for login sessions and security on our website. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use information
We use the information described above to operate the Services — publishing content to the accounts you connect, on the schedule you set; to prepare and edit content at your direction, including automated processing such as transcription, captioning, and speech synthesis; to report the performance of published content back to you; to maintain, secure, and improve the Services; and to communicate with you about your account.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
How information is shared
Connected platforms. To publish on your behalf, we transmit your content and instructions to the platforms you have connected (for example, TikTok or YouTube). Their handling of that information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Service providers. We use a small number of vendors to run the Services — cloud hosting, media transcription and speech services, machine-learning text and media processing, and email delivery. These providers process information only to perform work for us.
Legal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Lowcountry AI, our users, or others.
We do not share connected-platform data with data brokers or advertisers.
YouTube API Services
Portions of the Services use YouTube API Services. By using those features you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke our access to your YouTube data at any time from Google's security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
TikTok data
When you connect a TikTok account, we receive and store only the data needed to publish content you direct us to publish and to report its performance to you. You can disconnect your TikTok account from within the Services or by revoking the app's access in your TikTok settings; when you do, we stop accessing your TikTok data and delete stored access tokens.
Data retention and deletion
We keep connected-platform tokens and related data while your account remains connected and for a short period afterward for operational and audit purposes. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us at the address below; we will delete it unless we are required to keep it for legal or security reasons.
Security
We protect information with measures appropriate to a service of our size, including encryption in transit, restricted access to production systems, and secured storage of platform credentials. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information entrusted to us.
Your rights and choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us. You can disconnect any linked platform account at any time, either within the Services or through the platform's own security settings.
Children
The Services are business tools and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated to active users.
